During this webinar, participants learned about the context in which the National Collaborating Centres for Public Health have become involved in clarifying the roles of public health in population mental health and wellness promotion. They learned about the processes which led to this clarification. A general overview of these roles was discussed. Finally, an example of integration of a population mental health perspective in public health practice was presented.

This webinar was part of the Knowledge Translation in Public Health Medicine Series offered by the National Collaborating Centres for Public Health in partnership with the Public Health Physicians of Canada.
